Wind Turbines

1.) DNL Energy, LLC has completed the installation of two Skystream 3.7's on one residence in Groton, NH. A very unique site requiring the tower bases to be installed on top of surface ledge.

2.) In the town of Holderness we completed installation of a 10kw Bergey wind turbine. This was another unique site that did not allow us crane access or concrete truck access to the site. This site also required all foundations to be pinned to fractured ledge. 2009 production year to date we are averaging around 32kwh per day.

Tax Incentives
The Federal Government now has a 30% Tax incentive that has no cap for wind installations.

NH House Bills
The State of New Hampshire has signed two House Bills for Renewable Energy Systems, HB 310 and HB 1628.

HB 310 created guidelines for towns in New Hampshire to permit small wind systems under 100 kw. This will insure that home owners who want wind energy cannot be denied by the towns in which they live.

HB 1628 overview:

• $3.00 per watt up to a maximun of $6,000.00 or 50% of system cost, whichever is less, per facility

• 5 kw or less systems automatically qualify and all residential systems may request a variance to the 5 kw limit and may qualify

• Photo Voltaics, wind micro hydro and other renewable qualify

• These systems must have been operationalal after 07/01/2008 to qualify

• Installed on the owners property

Pond Aeration Systems
The Koenders windmills are already installed in numerous locations in the region and have been very successful in maintaining quality water in these ponds. These aeration systems help reduce the spread of West Nile Virus by reducing the breeding habitat of mosquitoes.
